Honestly I only order chicken here but it's the best chicken. Big cubes of marinated, seasoned chicken in their street tacas and awesome shredded chicken in their quesadillas. I'm only giving 4 out of 5 stars because once they forgot to make 1 out of 4 dishes we ordered for dine in. But great place.
My go to place for chicken nachos. I usually get black beans as well. Authentic salsas and guac. Strawberry agua fresca and horchata are bomb too. Ask em to mix it if they got it. And the people who run it are nice.
Haven't been here in ages...we ordered a quesadilla, Favela's asada burrito and a shrimp burrito. Everything was delicious.
It's like eating in a family home. The lady who took our order was courteous and answered our questions with a smile and pride in her restaurant. She said her family eats there too, so they don't use lard and they even remove grease from their meat. The place is clean and boasts some impressive wood carvings: seats, mirror frames, moldings. The salsa is freshly made, chips fried in-house, beans are salted just enough and smooth textured, rice is light and flavorful, and the cheese is delicious. The veggie burrito comes with guacamole and the enchiladas are doused in sauce. We had a wonderful dinner.
Really friendly staff, shrimp tacos excellent, perfectly cooked, fun decor with huge framed mirrors with a Rivera-esq feel. Easy off and on the freeway and NOT nasty fast food. Fresh and fast service. I don't get why this place has low ratings. Highly recommend!
A nice little Mexican place with a pleasant, warm atmosphere and good food. Not that expensive. Good chips and salsa.
My favorite Mexican place to go eat and on my list of top burritos. I've ever had in my entire life. Steak favelas, burritos and chicken nachos are amazing. A rating of 3.7 stars is shocking.This Rating should be a very high 4 or a straight 5 in my opinion.
Used Favela's for a staff luncheon and the food was incredible. Maria and the cook (didn't get his name unfortunatley) were so sweet and very helpful getting everything into my car. Highly suggest this place.
